Maguse Onsen is one of those places that you dream about years after you visit. It is a very traditional onsen that has the most stunning views down a sunset lit valley towards the beautiful ski mountain of Kijimadaira. We run the tour in the afternoon so the valley glows orange as the sun sets across it. Even if it is cloudy it is still amazing because it then takes on a mystical aura.
The Snow Monkey Tour takes in the gorgeous Japanese Snow Monkeys, a sake tasting and Shibu Onsen Village. It is a relaxed cultural tour that really gets at the heart of what makes Japan so special. All our guests absolutely love this tour and it is a must on any traveller to Northern Nagano's itinerary.
Nozawa Onsen Snow and Village tour is a wonderful way to spend the day. Go Skiing or Snowboarding on the mountain or relax in one of (or all of) the many public onsens. Stroll through the charming village and explore the temple at the top of the town. Eat delicious oyaki ringo (local apple dumplings) and onsen tamago (soft boiled eggs cooked in the hot springs).
